The Difference Between Brand Publishing & Content Marketing

30May 2019

Content Marketing and Brand Publishing can be easily confused, the difference of them both is that the main goal of content marketing is to increase interest in a brand’s product or service via the use of content creation without directly promoting the brand. This is usually done via the use of videos, blogs and social media posts.

Brand Publishing is a little different because with this marketing strategy, the goal is to help deliver your brand personality across to your audience, usually done via creating stories.

They are two often confused terms!

The goal of content marketing is to surge demand for a product or service through the creation and distribution of highly informative content.

The objective of brand publishing (or brand journalism) is to create or curate stories that communicate brand personality.
